OSCAR DE LA RENTA PRIVATE SHOWROOM

Arriving in Mayfair, in a quiet street, passing a series of luxury shops, I arrive at Oscar De La Renta.

The room smells nice, people are admiring the clothes which have been thoughtfully and delicately placed in the shop. Drinks and finger food are being served, whilst two models are displaying different pieces of the collection.

This invite was thanks to Threads Styling, a personal shopping company for which I was interning. However, I did not come here to eat the food or admire the clothes. I had to work, even though I cannot lie, I did enjoy it. My job was to look out for any interesting pieces, create outfits for the models to wear and take videos and pictures of the details to send to clients.

It was such an honor for me to have seen all these magnificent dresses all looking like they have come out of my dreams. What more could I ask for? Oh yeah money to actually buy them...
