We asked our female-identifying audience what they would like men to do in order to feel safe and respected in their everyday lives and grouped their answers together with the hope of positively educating men at the same time. AS A WOMAN,
I would really appreciate you to listen to me whilst I’m talking.
To consider my views and opinions as important as yours.
To treat me as you would want to be treated.
To acknowledge my everyday struggles.
To let me get home safe.
To let me wear what I want.
To understand that no is no.
If you see me get harassed in public, say something.
To educate other men when they act inappropriately.
Cross the road if you’re walking behind me.
Because I know it is ‘not all men’ but how do I know which one's which?
Don’t get offended, when I talk about how unsafe men make me feel.
